President Droupadi Murmu will serve as the chief guest at the Indian Navy Day celebrations on December 3 at Shangumugham beach, an event showcasing the Navy’s operational capabilities. Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh Kumar Tripathi will host the celebrations, which include a full dress rehearsal on November 29 and December 1. Prior to the main event, a Naval Band Concert highlighted the musical talent of the Southern Naval Command’s 55-member band, blending various genres from martial selections to patriotic music. This celebration underscores the Navy’s commitment to enhancing maritime security and fostering national pride amidst growing regional maritime challenges.
