Terrorism and Counterterrorism

Pak politician admits Pakistan's role in Delhi blast, targeting India.

In a stark on-record admission, former Pakistan-occupied Kashmir “prime minister” Chaudhry Anwarul Haq has publicly linked Islamabad to the 10 November 2025 car bomb blast near Delhi’s Red Fort, which killed at least 14–15 people and injured dozens. In a viral speech to the PoK Assembly after his ouster on 17 November, Haq declared, “If you keep bleeding Balochistan, we will hit India from the Red Fort to the forests of Kashmir. By the grace of Allah, we have done it… they still can’t count the bodies.” His remarks implicitly credit Pakistan-backed terror groups, even as probes by NIA and Delhi Police trace the blast to a Jaish‑e‑Mohammad–linked “white-collar” module of doctors tied to plots like “Operation D‑6”. The confession reinforces Indian claims of state-enabled cross‑border terrorism and will sharpen New Delhi’s diplomatic, intelligence and covert response calculus.
