Army and Civil Agencies Collaborate on Border Development in Arunachal

The Indian Army’s Gajraj Corps, along with civil agencies in Arunachal Pradesh’s East Kameng district, convened to enhance border development and security, emphasizing disaster preparedness. This conclave focused on upgrading dual-use infrastructure and promoting local recruitment into the Armed Forces, thereby bolstering both security and the rural economy through initiatives like ITBP’s ‘Project Arunveer’. The meeting also addressed joint disaster response protocols and encouraged student engagement with Army Public Schools to inspire youth. This collaborative approach reflects India’s commitment to strengthening border areas, ensuring national security, and fostering local development, which is critical in strategically significant regions like Arunachal Pradesh.
