Indian Air Force's Suryakiran Team to showcase aerial skills in Raipur air show.
The Indian Air Force’s prestigious Suryakiran Aerobatic Team (SKAT) is set to dazzle spectators with a remarkable aerial performance during Chhattisgarh’s Silver Jubilee celebrations on November 4, 2023. This will be a historic first for the region as the nine Hawk Mk-132 fighter jets execute precision flying and spectacular formations over Nava Raipur, including signature displays like the Trishul arrowhead and vibrant tricolour smoke trails. Group Captain Ajay Dasharathi will lead the team, accompanied by Squadron Leader Gaurav Patel, a native of Chhattisgarh, who expressed immense pride in representing his state. The air show, not only a tribute to Chhattisgarh’s journey but also an inspiration for the youth, will feature 15-25 formations, with aircraft maintaining a mere five-meter distance. The event, emphasizing national pride and showcasing the skill of the Indian Air Force, is anticipated to ignite patriotism among the thousands expected to attend.
