INS Gomati to be showcased at Lucknow's new Naval Museum.
The Nausena Shaurya Sangrahalaya, a naval museum in Lucknow, is progressing with 20% of its construction completed, focusing on the logistics for transporting naval artifacts, including relics from the decommissioned INS Gomati. Built with a budget of Rs 23 crore, the museum will feature a TU-142 Naval aircraft and an SK-42B helicopter, aiming to inspire youth towards naval careers and enhance tourism. The collaboration between the Uttar Pradesh government and Indian Navy ensures authenticity in displays, which will include interactive exhibits and simulations of naval operations. This initiative not only honors India’s maritime heritage but also serves as a testament to the Indian Navy’s contributions to national security, thereby fostering pride and knowledge among future generations.
