ISRO plans crewed lunar mission by 2040, launches Gaganyaan in 2027.

ISRO Chairman V. Narayanan announced ambitious plans for India’s space exploration, targeting a crewed lunar mission by 2040 and initiating the Gaganyaan human spaceflight in 2027. With three uncrewed Gaganyaan missions planned by 2026 and a national space station set for 2035, India aims to enhance its launch capacity and space infrastructure significantly.
