IIT Bhubaneswar partners with Indian Army to advance defense technology training.

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhubaneswar has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Simulator Development Division (SDD) of the Indian Army to enhance collaboration on advanced research and training in emerging technologies, including Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Robotics. The agreement, signed online by Brigadier G S Bedi and Prof Dinakar Pasla, aims to leverage academic expertise for improving defense capabilities and simulation-based training. This partnership underscores India’s commitment to innovation in defense technology, which is crucial for maintaining strategic superiority and enhancing operational efficiency in a rapidly evolving security environment.
