29 BSF officers complete training in drone warfare for enhanced security.

In a significant development for India’s Border Security Force (BSF), 29 trainee officers, including two women, were commissioned as assistant commandants following a graduation parade at the BSF Officers Training Academy in Tekanpur, Madhya Pradesh. These officers completed a rigorous 28-week course that included a pioneering module on drone warfare, emphasizing the BSF’s adaptation to modern combat techniques. This initiative reflects the BSF’s ongoing commitment to enhancing operational capabilities, particularly in light of recent challenges such as those encountered during Operation Sindoor. The establishment of a dedicated school for drone warfare underscores the BSF’s proactive approach to evolving security threats along India’s 6,000-km border with Pakistan and Bangladesh, thereby reinforcing national security and internal stability.
