In a significant crackdown, Lucknow Military Intelligence and Ranchi Police have dismantled a fraudulent job racket that duped individuals of approximately Rs 1.2 crore by falsely promising employment in the Indian Army and various government sectors. Three suspects have been arrested, with the main perpetrator, Abhishek Kumar, reportedly issuing forged appointment letters. The operation involved extensive investigations and the formation of a Special Investigation Team, underscoring the cooperation between military intelligence and local law enforcement. This incident highlights the ongoing challenge of job scams targeting aspirants and emphasizes the importance of vigilance among citizens to report such fraudulent activities to authorities, ensuring the integrity of legitimate recruitment processes.
