British Airways boosts UK-India flights amid growing economic ties.

British Airways is set to enhance UK-India connectivity as part of a significant trade mission, reflecting the growing economic ties following the Free Trade Agreement signed in July 2024 between Prime Ministers Keir Starmer and Narendra Modi. The airline will reintroduce its First cabin on flights from London to Mumbai and roll out its new Club Suite on select routes by the end of 2026, expanding its service from 56 weekly flights across five Indian cities. This move aims to facilitate increased business and tourism travel, underpinned by a commitment to customer experience and support services. The expansion signals a robust partnership between the UK and India, enhancing trade links and economic cooperation between the two nations, which is crucial for fostering mutual growth and stability in the region.
