A 20-year-old man, Tasleem Khan, has been arrested in Rajasthan for allegedly impersonating an Indian Air Force officer and committing fraud through fake invoices and letters, resulting in a loss of over Rs 2.5 lakh for a victim from Chhatarpur. The fraud involved Khan posing as an Air Force official, providing misleading information regarding token fees, security checks, and gate pass formalities. Following a complaint, the police registered a case under section 318(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and initiated an investigation, which included tracing the funds transferred from the victim’s bank account.
