ISRO seeks proposals for analyzing Chandrayaan-3 data.
ISRO has invited proposals from the scientific community to analyze data from the Chandrayaan-3 lander and rover, which was launched on July 14, 2023, for lunar studies. This initiative aims to engage faculty, researchers, and institutions in innovative research that leverages the extensive data collected on lunar seismicity, thermal properties, and elemental composition. With the mission objectives successfully accomplished, ISRO has already facilitated 30 projects utilizing datasets from Chandrayaan missions, fostering deeper insights into lunar evolution. The open data is available on the PRADAN portal, encouraging further exploration and research in lunar science. This collaborative approach strengthens India’s position as a key player in space exploration.
