NIA charges three Hizb ut-Tahrir operatives with conspiracy in India

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has charged three operatives of the banned terrorist group Hizb ut-Tahrir (HuT) for conspiring to establish an Islamic Caliphate in India. The accused, Kabeer Ahmed Aliyar, Aziz Ahamed, and Bava Bahrudeen, reportedly sought military assistance from hostile forces and aimed to recruit youth into HuT’s ideology. They organized an exhibition to showcase the military capabilities of Islamic nations, intending to incite violent jihad against the Indian government. This case highlights the ongoing threat of radicalization and the importance of the Indian government’s proactive measures to combat terrorism and safeguard national unity.
