General Dwivedi warns Pakistan: Terrorism support jeopardizes existence.

In a strong statement emphasizing India’s resolve against cross-border terrorism, Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi warned Pakistan that continued support for terrorism could jeopardize its existence on the world map. During an address to soldiers at the Sriganganagar cantonment, General Dwivedi declared that India would not exercise the restraint it had shown during Operation Sindoor, which resulted in the destruction of nine terrorist facilities and the deaths of over 100 Pakistani soldiers following the Pahalgam terror attack. He underscored the precision and care taken to minimize civilian casualties during these operations, while also calling for heightened readiness among Indian forces to counter future provocations. The Army Chief highlighted the significance of modernization and technological enhancements in the military, including the integration of unmanned aerial systems. This assertive stance reflects India’s growing commitment to a robust defense strategy and signals a shift towards a more proactive approach in dealing with terrorism, reinforcing regional stability and security. General Dwivedi’s remarks serve as a reminder to the international community about the repercussions of state-sponsored terrorism and India’s readiness to take decisive action to protect its sovereignty.
