Security forces in Jammu and Kashmir have intensified anti-terror operations in the Kishtwar and Poonch districts following credible intelligence regarding the presence of two groups of Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorists. Utilizing drones and aerial surveillance, troops conducted searches in the Keshwan-Chatroo valley and at Khanetar Top along the Indo-Pak border. In addition to these operations, vehicle checks have been enhanced along the Pathankot-Jammu-Srinagar national highway as part of a broader security alert ahead of the New Year.
