In a recent interactive session, he emphasized the improvement in India-China relations while also highlighting the ongoing challenge posed by cross-border terrorism. Gen Dwivedi reaffirmed India’s commitment to a “new normal” in counter-terrorism, emphasizing that the country is no longer susceptible to threats, including nuclear blackmail. He noted significant progress in Jammu and Kashmir post the abrogation of Article 370, with a marked decline in terrorism and rising political clarity, and suggested a potential visit by President Droupadi Murmu to Manipur as the situation there improves.
