She underscored the need for integrity, sensitivity, and competence among civil servants, advocating for a recruitment focus on honesty and the importance of gender sensitivity in governance. Highlighting India’s position as the world’s fastest-growing major economy, she called for effective governance systems to support the nation’s aspirations, including the goal of becoming the third-largest economy by 2047. The President expressed confidence in the commissions’ ability to build a future-ready civil service that is attuned to the needs of marginalized communities, thereby reinforcing the importance of equitable governance in a diverse society.
