Nana Patekar aids Pak shelling victims, praises army efforts

Veteran actor Nana Patekar met with victims of Pakistani shelling in Poonch and Rajouri districts, distributing Rs 42 lakh in aid to 117 families affected by violence during Operation Sindoor. Patekar, representing his NGO, emphasized the importance of community support for border residents who endure hardships due to ongoing tensions. He highlighted his commitment to education by sponsoring a young girl who lost her father in the shelling and mentioned his NGO’s involvement in adopting 48 army goodwill schools. Maj Gen Kaushik Mukherjee commended Patekar’s philanthropic efforts, reflecting a collective responsibility to support families impacted by cross-border conflicts, thereby underscoring the significance of civilian and military solidarity in enhancing the lives of those living in border areas.
