IAF Chief A.P. Singh advocates training reforms to address global threats.
Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh, Chief of the Air Staff, emphasized the necessity for an overhaul of military training during the Training Command Commanders’ Conference 2025, held on October 23 and 24 at the Indian Air Force Headquarters in Bengaluru. The conference convened commanders from various training establishments to discuss the transformation of IAF training systems, the modernization of infrastructure, and the alignment of instructional methods with contemporary operational needs. In his keynote address, Air Chief Marshal Singh praised the Training Command for its commitment to high standards and underscored the importance of adapting training methodologies to tackle evolving global security challenges and advancements in technology. To acknowledge excellence, awards were presented for operations, maintenance, and administration, with the Air Force Academy receiving the ‘Pride of the Training Command’ trophy.
