The Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare (DESW), under the Ministry of Defence, is set to host the National Conclave-2025 on September 29-30, focusing on the theme “Viksit Bharat and Ex-Servicemen Welfare.” Inaugurated by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, the conclave aims to enhance veteran reintegration and welfare by facilitating discussions among stakeholders, including representatives from Rajya Sainik Boards (RSBs) and Zila Sainik Boards (ZSBs). This platform will encourage the sharing of best practices and improve the effectiveness of welfare schemes for veterans across India. Additionally, the event will recognize outstanding contributions to ex-servicemen welfare, underscoring the government’s commitment to supporting its veterans, a critical aspect of national security and social responsibility.
