Defence Ministry, QCI sign MoU to boost veteran welfare services.

The Indian Defence Ministry has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Quality Council of India to enhance welfare services for over 63 lakh veterans and their families. This agreement aims to improve pension, healthcare, and resettlement services by leveraging digital evaluations and AI applications for better outreach and efficiency. The collaboration will also facilitate better coordination among various stakeholders, including state governments and healthcare providers. This initiative underscores the government’s commitment to ensuring the dignity and quality of life for veterans, reinforcing institutional frameworks, and expanding re-employment opportunities in a holistic manner.
