Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the 10th International Gita Conference at Kurukshetra University, a significant event that coincides with the ongoing International Gita Mahotsav. The conference, organized in collaboration with the Kurukshetra Development Board, aims to bring together scholars, researchers, and enthusiasts from across the globe to engage in dialogue on themes such as Gita ethics in the digital age and ecological co-existence. External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar highlighted the Ministry of External Affairs’ role in promoting the Bhagavad Gita worldwide, with over 50 Indian missions participating in the celebrations, including exhibitions of translated editions of the scripture. This global celebration not only honors the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita but also seeks to reinforce shared values of harmony and resilience, fostering a spirit of cultural dialogue among diverse communities.
