India and the European Union (EU) have strengthened their security and defense cooperation during the first-ever visit of the EU’s Political and Security Committee (PSC) to Asia, led by Delphine Pronk. The discussions highlighted the commitment to finalize a Security and Defence Partnership and a Security of Information Agreement, enhancing collaboration in crucial areas such as maritime security and counter-terrorism. The visit also marked a significant interest in defense industry cooperation, aligning with India’s Make in India initiative.
