Tamil Nadu aims for Rs 75,000 crore defence investment by 2032.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin announced the state’s ambition to attract Rs 75,000 crore in defence and aerospace investments by 2032 during the AeroDefCon25 event in Chennai. He emphasized the readiness of the state for investments across all districts and highlighted the significance of the Tamil Nadu Defence Industrial Corridor as a pivotal element for future growth in the sector. With over 3,000 delegates from 18 countries engaging in extensive B2B meetings, the state aims to position itself as a global hub for aerospace and defence industries. The commitment to supporting armed forces and fostering industrial partnerships is expected to enhance India’s strategic manufacturing capabilities and bolster its position in the global defence landscape.
