Bengaluru's COMROO Aerospace launches Khazar, a lightweight precision loitering munition for special forces.
On November 22, 2025, Bengaluru-based COMROO Aerospace launched “Khazar,” a lightweight loitering munition weighing just 900 grams and designed expressly for precision strikes by special forces. This man-portable system offers exceptional agility, able to loiter, circle, climb, dive, and hover under continuous human control up to 300 meters away, even in challenging urban environments. Nicknamed the “angel of precision death,” Khazar represents a significant advancement in India’s indigenous defence capabilities, enhancing the tactical options available to its special operations units. The small size and precision targeting make it ideal for rapid, on-demand neutralization of high-value targets without risking larger platforms or personnel. This development aligns with India’s ongoing emphasis on indigenization and modern warfare technologies, demonstrating a leap in the operational reach and lethality of Indian special forces on the battlefield. Khazar is expected to bolster India’s strategic posture in high-stakes conflict scenarios.
