Adani Defence and Aerospace is significantly ramping up bullet production at its Kanpur facility, aiming to almost double output in the coming months. CEO Ashish Rajvanshi highlighted the evolution of warfare, emphasizing the increasing reliance on drones and advanced technology such as AI in military operations. The company plans to invest Rs 7,000 crore to enhance its manufacturing capabilities, including producing larger caliber bullets, missiles, and high-tech warfare equipment, aligning with India’s Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative. This strategic move underscores India’s commitment to becoming a global defense manufacturing hub and strengthening its defense capabilities in response to modern threats.
