General Chauhan noted the significance of academia in this domain, pointing to collaborations with IITs on various defense technologies, including remotely operated aircraft. IIT Bombay’s newly established Centre for Defence Technology Innovation and Strategy is already spearheading multiple projects, reflecting India’s commitment to enhancing its defense capabilities through academic collaboration and technological innovation, which is essential for future warfare preparedness.
