While acknowledging a reduction in the intensity of military operations, he confirmed that Operation Sindoor remains ongoing, underscoring the necessity for constant readiness against evolving security challenges, including threats in cyber, space, and cognitive domains. Furthermore, Gen Chauhan highlighted the complexities of the current security environment, marked by contested borders and asymmetric tactics, requiring the armed forces to be agile and prepared for rapid decision-making.
