L&T Heavy Engineering has successfully despatched a Steam Generator to the Gorakhpur Haryana Anu Vidyut Pariyojana (GHAVP), marking a significant advancement in India’s nuclear energy program. This Steam Generator, part of the manufacturing of four units for GHAVP’s Units 3 and 4, was delivered seven months ahead of schedule, highlighting L&T’s capabilities in nuclear component manufacturing. The initiative supports India’s ambitious goal of achieving 100 GWe of nuclear power by 2047, emphasizing the importance of indigenous production and industry preparedness in bolstering the nation’s energy security and technological self-reliance. This achievement reflects the growing strength and reliability of India’s defense and energy sectors.
