Singh pointed out the humanitarian role of the Indian Air Force (IAF) in disaster response and reaffirmed its primary responsibility for national air defense. He cited Operation Sindoor to stress the importance of intense training for effective deterrence, stating, “the more you sweat in peace, the less you bleed in war,” while underscoring the IAF’s readiness with aircraft on standby.
