Two personnel from the Chhattisgarh Police’s District Reserve Guard (DRG) were injured during an encounter with Naxalites in Bijapur district while conducting an anti-Naxal operation based on intelligence reports. The gunfight began in the morning, and there are indications that several Naxalites may have also sustained injuries. The injured DRG jawans received preliminary treatment and are being transferred to Raipur for further medical care.
