Three Naxalites killed in Chhattisgarh security forces encounter.
In a significant development, three Naxalites were killed in an encounter with security forces in Chhattisgarh’s Kanker district during an anti-Naxal operation. The gun battle erupted in the Ravas forest area, where personnel from the District Reserve Guard (DRG) were conducting operations against Maoist activities. So far, the bodies of the deceased Maoists, believed to be area committee members, along with three weapons, have been recovered.
