In a significant achievement against the Naxalite insurgency in South Bastar Dantewada, security forces successfully detained three suspected Maoists and recovered a live pressure IED during a joint operation by Malewahi Police and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). The operation, part of an intensified anti-Naxalite campaign led by Superintendent of Police Gaurav Rai, followed a tip-off regarding suspicious activities near Satdhar bridge. The suspects, identified as members of the banned CPI(M) Maoist organization, confessed to their involvement in a prior IED blast injuring two CRPF personnel.
