Three arrested for leaking Indian Navy info to Pakistan operatives.

Karnataka Police have arrested three individuals—one from Gujarat and two from Uttar Pradesh—for allegedly leaking sensitive information regarding the Indian Navy to operatives in Pakistan. The accused, employed with Shushma Marine Private Limited, reportedly shared confidential details about naval vessels, including identification numbers and repair timelines. The investigation was initiated following a complaint from the CEO of Cochin Shipyard regarding a potential security breach. Additionally, Arunachal Pradesh Police apprehended five individuals from Kashmir under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act for allegedly gathering sensitive information and passing it to Pakistani handlers. These incidents underscore the ongoing threat of espionage and highlight the critical need for heightened security measures within India’s defense sector.
