Six Insurgents, Including Three PLA Members, Arrested in Manipur

In a significant anti-insurgency operation, six militants associated with various banned outfits, including three members of the Peoples Liberation Army (PLA), were arrested across three districts in Manipur. The arrested individuals included active cadres involved in logistics and instigating violence against security forces. Notably, two members of the Kangleipak Communist Party (Noyon) were apprehended, and a pistol was seized from their possession. This development underscores the ongoing challenges posed by insurgent groups in the region, highlighting the effectiveness of law enforcement in tackling such threats. The arrests reflect India’s commitment to maintaining security and stability in Manipur, an area historically affected by insurgency, as the government continues to bolster efforts to counteract militant activities.
