Security forces successfully foiled an infiltration attempt along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Kupwara district’s Keran sector, resulting in the neutralization of two terrorists. This operation, conducted by a joint team of the Army and J&K Police, was based on intelligence regarding a possible infiltration, and effective fire was returned when the infiltrators opened fire. In addition to neutralizing the threats, the forces seized a large cache of weapons and equipment from the site. Concurrently, J&K Police executed extensive searches in south Kashmir’s Shopian district, targeting individuals associated with separatist movements.
