Security forces on November 21, 2025, dismantled a terrorist hideout in the Neeriyan Forest area near the Line of Control in the Nowgam sector of Kupwara district, Jammu and Kashmir. During the operation, two M-series assault rifles, two Chinese-made pistols, two hand grenades, and several rounds of live ammunition were recovered. The hideout has been dismantled and the seized weapons are undergoing forensic and ballistic examination.
