Rs 92 crore in assets seized, major blow to Naxal funding.

In a decisive anti-Naxal operation, the Indian government has seized assets worth Rs 92 crore, significantly disrupting the financial support of Naxal groups. This coordinated action, involving multiple agencies, has resulted in the neutralization of 317 Naxals in 2025 alone, alongside the arrest of 862 and the surrender of 1,973 individuals. The government’s strategy, which combines security measures with infrastructure development, has reduced Naxal-affected districts from 126 in 2014 to just 11 this year, showcasing a more unified and multi-dimensional approach. As violence declines and development initiatives expand in these regions, the government’s commitment to eradicating Naxalism by March 2026 appears increasingly attainable, fostering hope for lasting peace and stability.
