Punjab Police recently apprehended two operatives, Deepak alias Deepu and Ram Lal, linked to an ISI-backed terror module, who were allegedly planning grenade attacks on government buildings in Ludhiana. The arrests, which followed an exchange of gunfire, revealed a coordinated effort by Pakistan-based handlers to recruit criminals from different states, complicating identification efforts. The police seized two Chinese hand grenades, five sophisticated pistols, and over 40 live rounds during the operation.
