Security forces in Jammu successfully thwarted a significant narcotics smuggling attempt from Pakistan, recovering over five kilograms of heroin valued at approximately Rs 25 crore. The operation, conducted by the Border Security Force (BSF) and local police, was initiated after a Pakistani drone was spotted hovering over Indian territory. Officials reported that two bags containing ten packets of heroin were seized near Border Outpost Jatinder in the R S Pura sector.
