Massive 500-Officer Investigation Launched; Modi Reviews National Security

Following the Red Fort blast that shook the capital, the Ministry of Home Affairs has deployed over 500 officers from the NIA, IB, and Delhi Police to lead an exhaustive probe. Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a high-level review meeting, emphasizing the necessity of dismantling all support systems of terror outfits in India. Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited the injured at Lok Nayak Hospital and confirmed that preliminary findings point to Jaish-e-Mohammed’s transnational network. Investigators have so far interrogated over 50 suspects, including medical students from Al-Falah University, where recruitment reportedly took place. The NIA has traced financial transfers linked to crypto wallets and hawala routes connected to Gulf-based donors. Meanwhile, Delhi Police have stepped up security at airports, metro stations, and crowded markets, with visible patrols and baggage checks. The Centre has vowed swift prosecution under the UAPA and pledged compensation to victims’ families.
