In a major counter-terror operation on November 7, 2025, Jammu and Kashmir Police conducted multiple Cordon and Search Operations (CASOs) across Kulgam district targeting cross-border terror networks linked to Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir. Acting on specific intelligence, the police arrested several individuals accused of facilitating, funding, and promoting militant activities at the behest of relatives based across the border. The crackdown led to the seizure of numerous digital devices and incriminating materials, aimed at dismantling the entire terror support ecosystem. The operation also involved coordinated raids in nearby districts like Ganderbal, Anantnag, Sopore, and Handwara. Authorities reiterated their commitment to continuing these operations until the terror support networks are fully dismantled, ensuring peace and security in the region.
