JeM raises Rs 391 crore for 313 new camps post Operation Sindoor.

Following India’s Operation Sindoor on May 7, 2025, which destroyed Jaish-e-Mohammad’s headquarters Markaz Subhanallah and four other training camps in Pakistan, the terror group has initiated a major fundraising drive to rebuild and expand its infrastructure. Intelligence reports indicate JeM is targeting PKR 3.91 billion or PKR 391 crore, to establish 313 new markaz across Pakistan, disguised as mosques to serve as training grounds and safe houses for leader Masood Azhar and his family. The campaign, launched in August 2025 and spearheaded by Azhar and his brother Talha Al Saif, utilizes digital wallets like EasyPaisa and SadaPay linked to relatives’ mobile numbers, alongside social media appeals, WhatsApp channels, and mosque collections under the guise of humanitarian aid. Funds are reportedly being diverted to acquire advanced weapons such as machine guns, rocket launchers, and mortars, heightening regional security threats amid Pakistan’s challenges in combating terrorism.
