Indian Army Boosts Operations Against 30-35 Terrorists in Jammu

The Indian Army has significantly escalated counter-terror operations in the Kishtwar and Doda districts of Jammu and Kashmir following intelligence reports indicating that 30 to 35 Pakistani terrorists have sought refuge in the region’s challenging mountainous terrain during winter. Employing a comprehensive “Surveillance-Swift Ops” strategy, the army is utilizing advanced technologies like drone reconnaissance and ground sensors to monitor movements and prevent terrorist regrouping. The operations involve joint efforts with local law enforcement and community defense groups to enhance intelligence sharing. This proactive approach aims to thwart potential threats posed by these militants as winter conditions create opportunities for concealment and evasion.
