India rejects Shehbaz Sharif's unfounded claims linking suicide blast to India.

India has categorically rejected the recent allegations made by Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who linked a suicide blast in Islamabad to Indian involvement. External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal labeled these claims as baseless and indicative of the Pakistani leadership’s internal instability, asserting that they serve to deflect attention from ongoing political crises within Pakistan. The suicide attack, which occurred near a court building and resulted in the deaths of 12 individuals, has not yet been claimed by any group, but officials speculate it may be tied to the Afghan Taliban. Analysts contend that such accusations against India are a recurring tactic employed by Pakistan’s leadership to divert criticism regarding its governance failures and security issues. The Indian government has emphasized that its international standing remains unaffected by Pakistan’s attempts to manipulate narratives, reaffirming that true stability in Pakistan will stem from addressing its internal challenges rather than scapegoating external forces.
