Vice-President Radhakrishnan urges NIT Kurukshetra graduates to innovate for India’s future.
Vice-President of India, Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan, addressed the 20th Convocation of the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Kurukshetra, emphasizing India’s transition from a technology consumer to a global creator of advanced solutions. He highlighted the role of technological innovation in addressing national challenges and urged graduates to engage in responsible research and entrepreneurship, aligning their efforts with initiatives like Digital India and Atma Nirbhar Bharat. Radhakrishnan commended NIT Kurukshetra for its contributions to defense research, including AI-based warfare and space missions, and called on graduates to play a pivotal role in realizing the vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047. His remarks underscored the importance of integrating ethical considerations into technological advancements and fostering a culture of innovation that bridges urban-rural divides and empowers local economies.
