Rajnath Singh launches development projects in Lucknow, praising HAL's contributions.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated several development projects in his Lok Sabha constituency of Lucknow, emphasizing the city’s rapid transformation through government initiatives and corporate social responsibility (CSR) contributions from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL). During the event organized by the Lucknow Development Authority, he launched a community centre and a library while laying the foundation for additional community centres across all five assembly constituencies. Singh expressed his vision for Lucknow to be recognized among the world’s top cities, highlighting plans for enhanced international air connectivity and a circular train around the city. He also unveiled bronze statues of notable figures such as former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and former President APJ Abdul Kalam. The minister reaffirmed his commitment to Lucknow’s development, stating that his dedication would remain regardless of his political future. This initiative not only aims to improve infrastructure and public amenities but also positions Lucknow as a rising global hub, reflecting India’s broader goals for urban development and enhanced living standards.
