A 28-year-old sailor from the Indian Navy, identified as Amit, was arrested in Kochi for allegedly sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl, the daughter of a CISF officer. The incident reportedly occurred after the accused lured the victim to his residence under the pretense of love. The Southern Naval Command (SNC) has acknowledged the arrest, emphasizing its commitment to cooperating with civil authorities during the investigation and upholding high standards of conduct.
