ISRO to launch US BlueBird-6 satellite by year-end, enhancing space collaboration.

The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is set to launch the US BlueBird-6 satellite, a significant collaboration with AST SpaceMobile, by year-end. Weighing 6.5 tonnes, this communication satellite will be launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre using India’s powerful LVM3 rocket. ISRO Chairman Dr. V. Narayanan also reported that the Gaganyaan human spaceflight mission is progressing, nearing 90% completion of subsystem activities, with three uncrewed missions planned before the crewed flight. The Upcoming Emerging Science, Technology and Innovation Conclave (ESTIC 2025), scheduled from November 3-5, will showcase Indian scientific advancements and foster collaborations across various sectors, highlighting the nation’s commitment to becoming a global leader in space exploration and technology innovation. This underlines India’s strategic focus on enhancing its space capabilities and international partnerships.
