ISRO Reveals Model of Bharatiya Antariksh Station for 2028 Launch

ISRO has unveiled a model of the Bharatiya Antariksh Station (BAS) during the National Space Day celebrations, with plans to launch its first module by 2028. This initiative will place India among a select group of nations with orbital laboratories, supporting advanced research in space, life sciences, and technology demonstrations. The BAS will feature an Environmental Control and Life Support System and is expected to foster international collaborations and space tourism. With five modules planned by 2035, the BAS underscores India’s commitment to advancing its space capabilities and inspiring future generations in space science.
